Final Project

Week 12 - 12.11.2020

Abstract Motion Video

For the final project, we were tasked to create an abstract motion video and we all the freedom to create whatever we like. It took me a really long time to figure out what kind of abstract video that I really want to make because the term of abstract itself is a really big word and there no guideline for us to follow so I decided to create something that is meaningful or maybe a lifelong lesson that can give meaning to our daily life as all of us now is under quarantine.

After Mr. Fauzi approved on my idea. I started to draw my illustration on Photoshop.

Week 13 - 19.11.2020

First draft 

*The BGM is just a rough version.* Here is the first draft :

Feedback: Mr.Fauzi suggested to change the BGM and layer more sound effect on it which I've planned to change earlier as well. 

Week 14 - 26.11.2020

Second draft 

Here is the second draft with BGM and sound effect:

Feedback: The animation was fine, just need to add some outro at the end so it doesn't look empty there.

Reflection

It took me almost 2 weeks to figure out what I actually want to do because I was quite confused with the term "abstract." In the end, I decided to make something that is meaningful or a lifelong lesson that can give meaning to our daily life as all of us now is under quarantine. For the sound part, it was quite challenging for me because I don't want to contain too much sound effects, but end up I put quite a lot of it. The execution is pretty fast once I know what I want to do and I really enjoy doing it. This project taught me to be more aware of the planning before executing everything, it really shortens the working time.
