Project 2

Week 6 - 01.10.2020
Channel bumper

For the second project of this module, we were tasked to make a channel bumper for any brand or channel for ourself. I decided to make myself a channel bumper since I've no idea which brands that I want to do.

Here is my proposal:

Week 7 - 01.10.2020
Channel bumper : Progress

After Mr. Fauzi approved on my idea. I started to start my illustration on photoshop. It took me quite some time to illustrate and the result came out not bad.

Reflection

Week 6 :
It took me a few nights to figure out what I actually want to do. In the end, I decided to make a channel bumper for myself because can be used in our showreel. This time I wanna try something new which is going to illustrate all the assets by myself based on the art style that I liked. Tbh I still really bad at illustrating on photoshop but I want to push myself further, I spent so many days on the tutorial just to learn all those digital drawing techniques. Thank god all the illustrations are something that I'm satisfied.

Week 7 :
After I got all the assets that I needed, I proceed to animate it in AfterEffect. It went smooth before I realised that PSD file is actually can't add trim path effect, I spent so many times on looking the soluton but I couldn't find any. *I think I searched the wrong keyword* After that, I went to ask one of my classmate, Arletta because she has experiences with AE and she fixed my confusion. Shoutout to Arletta! I'm satisfied with the final result and its also something that I will proud of because it is my first time trying this kind of art style.
