Task 1 : One of our raw memory
We were tasked to record a memory that is unforgettable.

The script:
A memory that I remember the most
I was growing up in a single parent family, my dad passed away when i was four. And my mom was always busy with her work because she has to raise 4 kids with financial stress. My grandparents were the one who actually took care of me and my siblings in our daily basics.
My grandpa was the one who always sent me and picked me up during my kindergarten period. I don't have many memories about my childhood but this is definitely one of the memories that i'll never forget. Like the way that he woke me up, brought me to kopitiam to eat breakfast and how excited I was to see his face every time I finished my school because he would come early every single time.
After 2 years he passed away, it was the time that i entered my primary school. This school was 3 km away from my home but my mom insisted that she wanted to pick me up everyday because it was dangerous for a kid to walk to school in the early morning, so I took everything for granted at that time. There was one time, my mom forgot to pick me up. I waited there for almost an hour. All the memories just suddenly came back like a waterfall. It made me realise how much I miss my grandpa. I was considering walking home but at the moment I was afraid that my mom couldn't find me when she arrived. I was really pissed at my mom and she didn't apologize to me once. Since that day, I have had like a cold war with mom for almost a week.
During my high school, I walked to school because it was only 5 mins walk. These phases of life got me thinking maybe it’s just life should be, growing up, getting more independent.

Reflection
Experiences
It was fun *also weird* experience to share about your own memory in front all of my classmates and also got to hear different stories and themes shared by them. After a few weeks of individual sessions with Mr. Martin, my story was finally set, the story came out exactly like how I want.
Findings
I was having hard times during the scripting because I'm very bad at writing and it also made me realised that I need to improve more on my writing through this project.
