We started to learn Maya with Mr. Kanan, he showed us the basics by having a tutorial with us together. We learn to build chess pieces by using basic shapes.

Reflection
Experiences
Week 1: I have experienced Maya software before as I was quite looking forward to using it again and pick up as much as I can. It was quite enjoyable to experience the online section with Mr. Kanan.
Week 2: It was quite interesting to learn some of the functions that I never learned before, and I'm still in the process of picking up the software Maya as the interface has changed.
Week 3: Public holiday
Week 4: Got my gun exercise feedbacks from Mr. Kanan and he showed us how to improve on our modeling skills. It was a lot to learn but somehow I'm getting used to the software piece by piece.
Week 5 : It wasnt easy to zbrush but i hope more practices could improve my sculpting skill.
Findings
Week 1: I was still trying to pick up what I've learned before because the version I was using last time was Maya 2015 and Mr. Kanan was showing us the latest version of Maya, the interfaces of both versions are completely different.
Week 2: One of the remarkable functions that I've learned today was Boolean, never knew this function until Mr. Kanan showed us on how to apply on modeling.
Week 3: Public holiday
Week 4: Learn a lot of basic modeling skills that can enhance our model to another level and also the importance of low poly vs. high poly.
Week 5: Learn that never sculpted very detail in the beginning if you intended to do a low poly model and not to burn ur computer.
