Feedback

Week 8
October 14th, 2019

Mr. Vinod & Mr. Shamsul approved my keywork and they also said one of my poster design looks familiar with the sample poster. Mr. Vinod said it could work but he advised me to do something on it, Make it looks different.

Facebook feedback: Mr. Vinod advised me to choose my images / faces carefully. After I changed it and showed it again. Here was the second replies from him. Mr. Vinod doesn't get the concept from seeing the artworks with brain. He said remove it should be fine.

Week 9

October 21st, 2019

Mr. Vinod approved my posters and he said all of my posters are all fine, just go with one that I think the best. For the tote bag and t-shirt, he gave me some general feedback about the collaterals have to have some similarities between the poster and collateral. For example, some of the characteristics from my poster like the rectangular element and slashed title should also be contained in collateral, so that people can recognize and relate it through the similarities of key artwork or poster.

Reflection

Experiences

Week 8
October 14th, 2019

I finally understood what was the meaning of the topic after few conversations with some classmates, they gave me so many useful advise. After that, I searching more inspirations from Pinterest so I can get the visual references. It was quite exhausting while looking up for inspiration, but I'm quite satisfied with the final outcome.

Week 9

October 21st, 2019

After few attempts of doing the key artwork, it got some much easier for me to continue with the collateral. It was such a good experience for me and I'm quite satisfied with the results.

Observations

Week 8
October 14th, 2019

Everyone is so focus on refining their key artwork and poster. It got me stressed out and I can't focus at all cause I didn't sleep much yesterday night, was busy refining my key artwork. Thanks I got it approved today!

Week 9
October 21st, 2019

All of my classmates seem so much relieved because the past 2 weeks had been hectic for most of us, all the refinement and changes of key artwork process have finally came to an end! Hurrayyyy.

Transforming Type : New Directions in Kinetic Typography written by Brownie and Barbara.

Part 2- Issues in transforming typography.

It explains the construction in 3D dimension, it illuminates the rapidly evolving ecosystem of typography. It explained how letterforms come alive as in 3D dimension with deep histories and unexpected behaviours.

This part also one of my favourite. Its something related to 3D modelling and also my specialisation that i would want to go in my further semester.

This book is an exciting and catch up my attention. Definitely will continues this book while I having spare time. This book will fascinate anyone who interested in the play of type and how it can be applied in new and cutting edge ways.
